Job Description

Mental Health Technician (MHT) Enterhealth is a nationally recognized leader in dual diagnosis and trauma-informed addiction treatment, dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery through compassionate, evidence-based care. Located on a private 43-acre ranch-style campus in North Texas, Enterhealth Ranch provides a serene, recovery-focused environment where patients and staff are supported by a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, and teamwork. We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and motivated Mental Health Technicians (MHTs) to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about behavioral healthcare, patient support, and creating a safe and structured environment that promotes healing and recovery. Mental Health Technicians play a vital role in the daily patient experience by providing supervision, support, engagement, and accountability throughout the treatment process. MHTs work closely with nursing, clinical, and operations teams to help maintain a therapeutic environment while supporting patients during all phases of care. Why Team Members Choose Enterhealth Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a premier dual diagnosis treatment setting Beautiful private campus designed to support healing and recovery Meaningful work that directly impacts patients and families Strong culture of professionalism, teamwork, and compassion Opportunity for growth within behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment Mission-driven organization focused on long-term recovery outcomes Primary Responsibilities Provide supervision, engagement, and support for patients throughout treatment Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment Conduct routine patient rounds and monitor patient activity Support patients during periods of emotional distress and assist with verbal de-escalation when appropriate Encourage participation in treatment programming, activities, and schedules Assist with admissions, discharges, transportation, and daily unit operations Conduct room searches, belongings checks, and safety inspections in accordance with facility policy Maintain accurate and timely documentation Communicate patient concerns and observations with the treatment team Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility Respond appropriately to emergency situations and facility protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, or related field preferred, 3 plus years Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and observant in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong teamwork, accountability, and professionalism Valid driver's license required Additional Requirements CPR and SAMA certification required within 30 days of employment If you are passionate about helping individuals in recovery while working in a supportive, mission-driven, and clinically advanced environment, we encourage you to apply.
