  • G Job Duties This position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of a therapeutic community.
Safety Security Treatment Technicians will be responsible for community development of approximately 40 residents on a living unit; behavioral interventions supporting therapeutic progress; assisting with enforcing unit rules, policies, and procedures; performing room inspections; and documenting behaviors of residents. Minimum Qualifications KSA's and or Competencies required to successfully perform the work: Ability to operate automated systems and personal computer Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing Ability to interpret and apply basic policies and procedures Work independently, set priorities, effectively organize work and manage multiple projects at one time Attention to detail and good problem-solving and decision making skills Working knowledge of policies, methods of physical control, first aid procedures, and radio communications Ability to apply and interpret rules and regulations, conduct thorough searches, analyze and resolve problems; provide leadership and work direction to residents; and use good judgment Successfully complete certifications and orientation Ability to work all posts as directed by supervisor, follow written post orders and facility policies and procedures Ability to drive a 15 passenger security van Additional Considerations Associate degree in Human Service is preferred; Experience working with individuals with a behavioral disorder and/or forensic environment is preferred Special Instructions You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
