Job Description

As a member of the Cathedral Home team, you will : Advocate for
Youth and Families:
Champion the needs of youth and families within the community.
Build Strong Relationships:
Establish meaningful connections with clients to provide lasting support.
Address Community Needs:
Contribute to solutions that meet the community's needs.
Position Details :
Shift:
Overnight shift starting at 10:00 p.m.
Age Requirement:
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Support Youth:
Offer hope and assistance to youth as they work through traumatic experiences and mental health challenges.
Build Relationships:
Foster safe, meaningful, and therapeutic relationships with youth in residential treatment through consistency and care.
Ensure Safety:
Maintain an environment of physical and emotional safety, supporting youth in addressing trauma and developing coping skills.
Trauma-Informed Care:
Provide care that is informed by trauma principles, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
Engage Actively:
Actively participate in positive, therapeutic relationships with clients through field trips, activities, group discussions, and play.
Behavior Management:
Manage adolescent behavioral needs effectively and de-escalate crises when they arise.
Collaboration:
Work alongside counselors and treatment teams to develop goals and objectives for client care plans. Commitment to
Welfare:
Demonstrate a strong desire to promote the welfare of others, particularly children, teens, and families.
Organizational Skills:
Exhibit proven abilities in organization, communication, time management, and teamwork.
Background Checks:
Ability to pass criminal background and child abuse registry checks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Become a part of a trauma-sensitive culture that is dedicated to advancing social justice through family-driven care.
