Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician, or Certified Nurse Midwife specializing in Women's Healthcare. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations, empowering women through all stages of life. You will deliver high-quality clinical services in a collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise to improve health outcomes and promote wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and vital signs, with a focus on women's health issues such as family planning, prenatal care, and menopause management Provide evidence-based treatments, including prescribing medications, performing procedures like suturing and dermal fillers, and administering injections such as botulinum toxin treatments Manage acute and chronic conditions by utilizing critical care experience and applying advanced clinical knowledge in areas like obstetrics, gynecology, geriatrics, and behavioral health Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently Educate patients on health maintenance, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care; offer health coaching tailored to individual needs Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to ensure comprehensive patient care Support telehealth initiatives by conducting virtual consultations that uphold HIPAA standards and deliver accessible healthcare services Requirements Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician, or Certified Nurse Midwife with certification in women's health or relevant specialty areas Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations Demonstrated experience working with women across different life stages—adolescents to seniors—including pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and aging-related health issues Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with medical documentation and CPT coding is highly desirable Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography and laboratory specimen processing Experience in various clinical settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals (Level I/II trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities or home care environments Familiarity with procedures like IV infusion/insertion, catheterization, spinal taps, tube feeding management and sterile processing techniques Ability to perform clinical tasks such as triage assessments, physical examinations, medication administration (including injections), venipuncture and sterile technique adherence Knowledge of infection control protocols including infection prevention strategies in acute care settings Join us to advance women's healthcare through compassionate service and innovative practices.
