Job Description

Description . This on-site, contract position offers an incredible opportunity to provide quality care and support to expectant mothers and their families within our medical practice. As a Locum CNM/PA, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services in the Ob/Gyn department. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to patient-centered care and support the well-being of our community. Responsibilities Provide prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care to patients Conduct routine gynecological exams and health screenings Work closely with physicians to develop and implement care plans Educate patients on health, nutrition, and wellness Perform necessary procedures in accordance with standard practices Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records Respond to patient inquiries and provide guidance on care options Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental objectives Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant Experience in an Ob/Gyn setting is preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of women's health issues Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Current CPR and BLS certifications
Schedule:
3 shifts per week, 7a-8:15p or 7p-8:15a
Daily Volume:
10-20 patients
Procedures:
C-sections, repair of episiotomies
EMR:
Epic Support Staff:
Laborist and triage MDs on-site Board certification required Paid travel & expenses
