Job Description

Job Description Maine Coast Women's Health Care seeks a per diem Certified Nurse Midwife in Ellsworth, Maine. The candidate will join a team of CNMs and three OB/GYN in the practice of family centered midwifery. Enjoy working in a brand-new built OB Unit serving the Coast of Maine. Experience with VBAC, water birth, birth center birth and intermittent monitoring is preferred. Ability to function as a team player in our dynamic practice is essential. The per diem Certified Nurse Midwife provides full scope midwifery care to women on an on-call basis. The CNM is an independent practitioner with admitting privileges, who consults with, collaborates with, and refers to physician colleagues as appropriate. Qualifications include MSN in midwifery with AMCB certification, NRP and eligibility for Maine APRN licensure. Ability to First-Assist for cesareans and to perform limited OB ultrasonography is preferred.
