Job Description

Summary Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife sought to join a busy and established women's health practice with MyMichigan Alpena. Practice consists of one full time physician and one full time NP, along with 2-3 other part time physicians to help with coverage. Currently recruiting for another full time physician to join the practice. Visits will consist of routine OB, physicals, PAPs, birth control and gynecology. Potential for some inpatient work as well as surgical assisting but 90% of position will be focused on outpatient, with a couple days per month of satellite clinics. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM to 4:40 PM and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 12 PM. Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities 90% outpatient work - 10% inpatient and surgical assist No holiday or call requirements 2-3 days per month of satellite clinic coverage Certifications and Licensures AHA approved BLS and NST certifications Required Education Graduate of accredited NP, PA or CNM program Women's Health Experience Preferred Other Information Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing process For more information, please contact Mike Fitzner by email at michael.fitzner@mymichigan.org
