Full-time Job Summary:
Our client is well known medical clinic center looking for a Nurse Midwife.
Schedule:
M-F, 8am
  • 5pm with a 24 hour call 2 times a week
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Nurse Midwife to join our growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care for women across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits and provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families. Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention birth experiences. Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments. Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice. Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Participate in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends. Provide patient-centered care in alignment with practice philosophy and standards. Collaborate with OB-GYN physicians, nurses, and office staff for seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program required Current and unrestricted RN license required National certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board preferred Current BLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain). Minimum of [1-2] years of midwifery experience preferred; open to candidates who have 6-8 months experience as well. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting.
