Tour of Duty:

The time can vary according to the needs of each facility and/or clinic, e.g. 12-hour Tour of Duty, 8-hour Tour of Duty, 10-hour Tour of Duty. Includes nights, weekends and holidays. Duties and responsibilities may encompass outpatient and inpatient services to IHS patients.

• Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license to practice nurse-midwifery in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
• Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience certified midwife
• Must be competent in inpatient and outpatient obstetrical/midwifery care.
• Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
