Locums About the Facility This 176-bed rural facility maintains a Level I well-baby nursery and operates 26 labor and delivery suites along with 10 obstetrical triage beds. The facility does not hold a state trauma center designation and provides low-volume obstetric services with established protocols supporting both routine and emergency maternal care. Clinical documentation is managed through the
EPIC EMR
system. About the Facility Location Tennessee offers clinicians on assignment access to a variety of regional attractions, including outdoor recreation, scenic drives, and year-round activities. The state provides opportunities for hiking, lakeside recreation, and cultural experiences across its diverse regions, making it a destination with options for both leisure and exploration during time away from assignment. About the Clinicians Workday Clinicians will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through 24-hour weekend call coverage at this rural facility. Primary responsibilities include managing OB complications, performing cesarean sections, and responding to emergency gynecologic consultations from the emergency department. Cases exceeding midwife capabilities and after-hours obstetric needs are directed to the physician, while advanced practice providers serve as first call for routine deliveries. All clinical documentation is completed using the
EPIC EMR
system, and high-risk pregnancies and those under 25 weeks gestation are transferred to appropriate tertiary facilities.
