In private practice, providers often have the flexibility to spend more time with each patient, tailor care to individual needs, and maintain continuity of care through all stages of a woman's life. This autonomy allows providers to foster genuine relationships, reduce unnecessary interventions, and ensure that clinical decisions are guided by patient-centered values rather than corporate metrics. Therefore, you will build meaningful patient relationships over time and witness the long-term results of their care. Also, we work with you to set your schedule, so you don't have to endure exhausting hospital shifts. Upside opportunity depends on how much you want to work, you will be rewarded for your hard work and efforts via productivity bonus on top of your base salary. Duties:
Full-time Job Description as below, while Part-time Job is also available with less time requirements: 3 Clinic days per week On Call requirement: Every other weekends, Call is from home Providing prenatal and postpartum care for pregnant women Tending to patients and newborns during labor and delivery Performing routine gynecological care, including exams, IUD insertion Educating patients on parenting and family planning Maintaining patient medical records Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring patients to specialists when necessary Testing for and diagnosing various medical conditions Providing emotional support for expectant and new mothers Perform other reasonable administrative tasks as associated with the practice Requirements Active, unrestricted CNM medical license & DEA, must meet credentialing requirements established for Midwife role. Extensive knowledge of obstetrics & gynecology (Ob/Gyn), physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to maternal health. Proficiency in medical documentation, coding (CPT & ICD), and medical records management within EMR/EHR platforms. Skilled in primary care procedures including physical examinations, family planning counseling, medication administration, and patient monitoring. Strong clinical skills in suturing, labor & delivery management, pain control techniques, speculum exams, and NICU procedures. Experience with hospital-based inpatient care as well as outpatient services in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform ultrasound sonography for fetal assessments when necessary. Familiarity with NCQA standards for quality assurance and patient safety protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on health topics such as contraception options or pregnancy education.
