Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and creative Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team in supporting individuals. The Music Therapist will design and implement individualized and group-based music therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, social-emotional development, motor skills, cognitive functioning, and overall quality of life. Key Responsiblities Provide individual and group music therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans focusing on communication, motor skills, socialization, emotional expression, and more. Monitor and document client progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports in accordance to company and state standards. Engage caregiver and family in the therapeutic process, providing education and support to incorporating music based strategies into daily routined and interaction. Bring energy, creativity, and compassion to every beat, chord, and lyric. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program. Board Certification (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Creative, flexible, and person-centered approach Experience working with individuals with IDD, preferred. Knowledge of adaptive music techniques and augmentative communication strategies Fingerprint Clearance Card Let's connect and be a part of creating change!
