Job Description

Engagement Companion Opportunities House & Heart is seeking warm, engaging, and compassionate companions interested in supporting individuals in nursing facilities, assisted living settings, and private homes. We focus on meaningful companionship, social engagement, emotional support, and activity-based interaction that helps improve quality of life and brighten everyday moments. Current Opportunity We are currently seeking a kind, patient, and engaging companion for an adult female resident living in a nursing facility.
This opportunity focuses primarily on:
companionship conversation and emotional connection games and activities positive engagement social interaction creating a comforting and uplifting environment The resident enjoys: music beauty and self-care activities games and activities relaxing interaction social connection meaningful companionship This role focuses on emotional presence, patience, engagement, and creating enjoyable experiences throughout the day. Ideal Companion Qualities This opportunity may be a great fit for someone who is: warm and compassionate patient and emotionally supportive calm and attentive engaging and creative reliable and professional comfortable providing companionship in a healthcare setting Healthcare experience is appreciated but not required. Examples of Companion Activities puzzles and games arts and crafts music and entertainment hand massages/self-care activities outdoor walks or fresh air outings (when appropriate) movie time memory-friendly activities relaxing companionship and conversation Opportunity Information Flexible opportunities based on availability and fit Independent companion opportunities Compensation discussed based on experience, schedule, and needs Hours needed are from 3 to 7 hours per day At House & Heart, we believe companionship is more than simply being present — it is about creating connection, comfort, joy, dignity, and meaningful moments every day.
Pay:
$23.31 - $28.07 per hour
