Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)
Pay:
$35 per hour (biweekly pay) Looking for a meaningful and flexible music therapy career without all the driving? Join our vibrant and growing team at Beachside Music Lessons & Therapy, a well-established studio that has served the Volusia County area for nearly 9 years. With three Music Therapists already on staff, we're looking to welcome a new team member to support our growing client base.
Who We Serve:
Children and teens with disabilities (e.g., autism, Down syndrome) Individuals with mental health challenges Clients seeking adapted music lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, and singing Clients of all ages — including homeschoolers, retired adults, school-age kids, and professionals
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible weekday hours: morning through early evening, based on client needs No weekends required Guaranteed weekly pay while we build your caseload…no waiting around or worrying about income Room to grow your schedule based on your preferences and availability Studio-Based = Less Stress Most sessions are held in our beautiful, fully equipped studio locations No daily driving means more time with clients, less wear and tear on your car, and higher earning potential Occasional travel for group sessions at local facilities only (minimal)
What We Provide:
Guaranteed pay while building your caseload Access to rhythm instruments, drums, music games, visuals, curriculum, and a full music therapy resource library Private studio rooms in a calm, inviting atmosphere No billing, scheduling, or marketing responsibilities…we take care of all of that so you can focus on showing up and being awesome HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform for virtual sessions when clients are sick or traveling Mentorship from a senior therapist with nearly 20 years of experience Team support from our staff of 7 music teachers and therapists across all locations Opportunities for creativity and collaboration in a supportive, family-owned business
What We're Looking For:
Board-Certified Music Therapist (or degree completed and eligible to sit for the exam) Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about helping others through music Strong communication, time management, and independence Experience with special needs populations is preferred Open to working with a wide age range, from kids to seniors Punctual, professional, and able to work independently in a studio setting Must pass a background check
