Job Description

Music Therapist
MT-BC - IN FACILITY
Music Therapists are responsible for providing music therapy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages who are receiving services in family homes and supported living settings funded through the Family Support Waiver (FSW) or the Community Integration Habilitation Waiver (CIH). Job duties will include supervising Music Therapists, observing on-going individual music therapy sessions to ensure goals are being worked towards and mat , reviewing individual assessment, reviewing created treatment plans, engaging and establishing relationships with caregivers and parents, monitoring treatment to ensure quality, and being an active participant within Hancock and surrounding counties to promote the Music Therapy Program at DDSi. . Music Therapists must also write and maintain all client records including all treatment programs and assessments, progress reports, billing forms, and any other required documents. . Services are provided in our facility home setting, and within the community. Travel is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Music Therapist Bachelor's degree is Music Therapy Certification by the National Association of Music Therapists Experience working with individuals participating. In Music Therapy disabilities is required (3 Years). Valid driver's license. Excellent interpersonal and written abilities. Resolve any conflict that may arise with teams that's support individuals. Ability to manage stress In a high pace stressful environment. Ability to work independently and have strong organizational skills Promote the DDSi Music Therapy Program This position is currently based in Hancock, Marion County and surrounding counties but the goal is to expand across Central Indiana .
Pay:
$38.00 - $44.00 per hour
