Category Schools - School Therapist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an Itinerant Music Therapist to provide specialized therapeutic services within a school setting. This contract position is based in Mount Airy, MD, supporting students through music therapy interventions one day per week. The role is designed to enhance student development and well-being by integrating music therapy techniques tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver music therapy sessions to students across various locations within the district. Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement individualized therapeutic plans. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Maryland Music Therapy certification. Experience working in school environments preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
