We are a diverse private practice with a large clinic space, located on the campus of Drury University, with an additional office in Joplin, MO. The music therapist serving in these positions will have the opportunity to serve a variety of clientele ranging from young children to older adults.
Qualifications:
Music Therapist- Board Certified; new graduates welcome- with experience or interest particularly in the area of developmental disabilities, rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, and older adults. We are looking for applicants that are highly motivated, work well independently, are creative, thrive in a diverse setting, and will work with both individuals and groups. Strong knowledge of the AMTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics are required. The ideal candidate should have excellent music skills including piano, guitar, and vocal skills. Applicants must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player. This job will require some early evening hours and may require occasional weekends. Reliable transportation is required. Mileage reimbursement provided for miles driven. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
