Neuromonitoring Technician Musculoskeletal Health Partners, Medical Service Organization San Diego, CA Job Details Full-time $46.98 - $56.49 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Report writing Patient monitoring Calibration Administrative experience Medical administrative support Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Neuromonitoring Technician to join our surgical team at Musculoskeletal MSO in San Diego, CA. In this full-time role, you will provide intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during surgical procedures as well as perform office-based duties, working closely with neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety throughout complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during spinal, neurosurgical, and orthopedic procedures Set up and operate monitoring equipment including EEG, EMG, SSEP, MEP, and nerve conduction studies Communicate real-time neurophysiological data to the surgical team Document monitoring data and prepare detailed reports for each case Review and prepare case materials prior to procedures Perform office-based administrative and clinical support duties as needed Troubleshoot technical issues during procedures to ensure accurate and uninterrupted monitoring Maintain and calibrate neuromonitoring equipment in accordance with protocols
Qualifications:
Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) preferred or eligibility to sit for the exam Experience in an intraoperative neuromonitoring setting Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and communicate effectively under pressure Willingness to travel to surgical sites as needed
