In this full-time role, you will provide intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during surgical procedures as well as perform office-based duties, working closely with neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety throughout complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during spinal, neurosurgical, and orthopedic procedures Set up and operate monitoring equipment including EEG, EMG, SSEP, MEP, and nerve conduction studies Communicate real-time neurophysiological data to the surgical team Document monitoring data and prepare detailed reports for each case Review and prepare case materials prior to procedures Perform office-based administrative and clinical support duties as needed Troubleshoot technical issues during procedures to ensure accurate and uninterrupted monitoring Maintain and calibrate neuromonitoring equipment in accordance with protocols

Qualifications:

Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) preferred or eligibility to sit for the exam Experience in an intraoperative neuromonitoring setting Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and communicate effectively under pressure Willingness to travel to surgical sites as needed
