Summary:
The Manager - EEG Neurodiagnostic Services provides strategic and operational leadership for EEG services across MaineHealth Southern Region locations and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in MMC Portland. The Manager, EEG Neurodiagnostic Services, is responsible for coordinating workflow to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. Working with clinical leaders, the Manager is responsible for program performance, ensuring quality, financial stewardship, staffing, accreditation, and the alignment of EEG and EMU operations across the region. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
License/Certifications:
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program required . Current
ABRET R. EEG T.
credential and BLS certification required . Advanced ABRET credentials (CNIM, CLTM) preferred.
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a medium or large healthcare setting preferred. Demonstrated experience leading EEG operations and staff.
Additional Skills/ Requirements Required :
Strong leadership, coaching, and team building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Advanced knowledge of EEG and long term monitoring technology, safety, and quality standards. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and ensure quality across routine EEG, ambulatory EEG, c
EEG , EMU
studies, and long term monitoring. Ability to prioritize in fast paced clinical environments and work independently.
