Job Description What you will do: May perform intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction, and/or electroencephalography (EEG) testing for all patient populations. Understanding the testing equipment, including its structure, indications for use, physiological effect upon the patient, and basic maintenance procedures. with us. It takes all of us to make a difference. Qualifications High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred. Completion of department approved training program is required. Working knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP) instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions is preferred. Experience in area of specialty or applicable health care experience is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
