5:30p-5:30a; 6p-6a; 6:30p-6:30a Shift 3 Job Description Under general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Electroneurodiagnostic Tech I prepares patients for and conducts routine Electroneurodiagnostic (END) procedures: collects data pertinent to the interpretation of test results. Assists senior technologists or medical staff with complex recordings. Education And Credentials Associate of Applied Science relevant to END program, with END program certificate (no work experience required) or Bachelor of Science inclusive of in neuroscience with six months EEG experience in the last two years, OR MS - Masters of Science in neuroscience with six months EEG experience in the last two years. REEGT Electorencephalogram within 30 months required. Within 2.5 years from date of hire, employee must obtain a registry/certification offered by ABRET (e.g., REEGT, REPT, CNIM, CLTM). Must have either an Associate's, bachelor's or master's Degree. Experience No experience if associate's degree with END Certificate required, OR 6 months of experience with a BS or MS in Neuroscience and six months of EEG experience within the past two years required. 2 years of experience related neurodiagnostic field (must have at least one neurodiagnostic board certificate) preferred OR 1 year of experience performing routine and complex EEG's (AAS and BS candidates) preferred.

Two years of work experience in related neurodiagnostic field is only required for those candidates who do not have an AAS or BS degree and are being hired with at least one neurodiagnostic board certificate (e.g., ABRET, AAET, BRPT or ABEM).
