Strong Growth Opportunity Be a part of a specialized neurology team Team Oriented Culture with Strong Support Here's What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED) One year of experience in Neurodiagnostics (REQUIRED) OR Six months of direct patient care experience if currently enrolled in an accredited neurodiagnostic education program (REQUIRED ) OR No experience required if completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic education program (REQUIRED) BCLS
  • prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (REQUIRED) What You Will Do Performing Exams Perform EEG Tests as appropriate and is expected to know correct recording electrode as well as appropriate sites.
Able to differentiate between electrode artifact and true abnormal brain wave activity. Perform Long term Epilepsy Monitoring (LTEM) as appropriate and is expected to know correct recording electrode as well as their appropriate sites. Able to edit and archive LTEM. Able to perform 24-hour AEEG recordings on inpatients and outpatients by accurately placing recording electrodes to patient's head and chest as well as assuring ambulatory recorder is operating correctly. Able to print and scan 24-hour record denoting significant data. Able to provide relevant and accurate patient and family education.
