In this vital role, you will perform nerve conduction studies to assist in diagnosing neurological conditions, ensuring accurate and efficient assessments. Responsibilities Conduct nerve conduction studies on patients, accurately recording electrical activity of peripheral nerves and muscles. Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring comfort throughout the process. Monitor vital signs and patient responses during testing, promptly addressing any adverse reactions or discomfort. Maintain detailed documentation of test results, ensuring clarity and accuracy for clinical review. Experience Certification as a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technician (R.NCS.T.) Prior experience performing nerve conduction studies in a clinical setting required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to neurology and neurodiagnostics. Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Pay:
Up to $70,000.00 per year
