Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a crucial role supporting patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, delivering advanced imaging services through dedicated expertise. In this contract position, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, assisting with complex diagnostic procedures and ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate state-of-the-art nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic tests. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following strict protocols and safety guidelines. Evaluate diagnostic images for accuracy and quality, troubleshooting technical issues as needed. Accurately document patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns to foster a comfortable environment. Adhere to all radiation safety standards, including monitoring and maintaining equipment calibration. Maintain active collaboration with physicians and nurses to support patient diagnoses and care plans.
Qualifications:
Valid certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N) Proven experience with nuclear medicine imaging procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Current BLS certification preferred. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
