Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Deliver vital diagnostic care and support as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting. Schedule/Hours:
Full-time schedule (specific shifts may vary) Contract position
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or equivalent) Experience performing a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and safety protocols Ability to interpret physician orders and deliver high-quality patient care Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Up-to-date BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nuclear medicine studies according to physician instructions and established protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment with precision Ensure safety measures to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure Assess images for diagnostic quality and identify the need for additional views Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records Collaborate with radiology and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
