Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel A healthcare facility in Desert Hot Springs, CA is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in nuclear medicine imaging while experiencing a new location.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established guidelines Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment ensuring quality diagnostic images Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic information Maintain detailed documentation and patient records following regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine safety and quality control procedures Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Excellent communication and patient care skills
