1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift contract role at an acute care facility in Fountain Valley, CA, requiring 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure. Details Works in a Nuclear Medicine unit within an acute care hospital setting Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years required Active CA license required for consideration — license required if applicable Cerner EMR experience required Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed) At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year from the relevant unit required A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted) Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position — check with your recruiter for details Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers No RTO (requested time off) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be confirmed prior to submission and cannot be changed once submitted Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and must be approved prior to assignment No blocked or self-scheduling permitted Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
