1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital setting. Details Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM day shifts 5x8-hour shift schedule Shared on-call/standby coverage with one other technologist, including every other weekend Cerner EMR — experience required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years required Valid, active CA license required — license required if applicable Cerner EMR experience required Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts) At least one supervisory/director/manager reference from the past year on the relevant unit required for consideration A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator) is also required Additional Information First-time travelers may be considered — check with your recruiter for eligibility details Local candidates are accepted at the same rate No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling permitted No RTO (time off requests) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be changed after submission Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and may require facility approval prior to assignment Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
