Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) for Positron Emission Tomography (PET)•PET/CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) .
Work Hours:
Monday•Sunday:
Between the hours of Midnight•Midnight Including Holidays Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hourshift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute mealbreak. 40 hours per week.Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT. Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification. Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed. Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).Benefits:
