Job Summary:
College Medical Center is seeking a Per-Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position supports the Mission of the Hospital through the provision of distinctive and compassionate care to our patients and by performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures as requested by a licensed physician. The technologist instructs, educates, and prepares patients for exams, demonstrates proficiency in safely administering isotopes, and consistently adheres to radiation safety standards.
Job Qualifications:
Current California Nuclear Medicine license Minimum 2 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred National certification (NMTCB or ARRT) preferred Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) required upon hire; must obtain CPI certification within 30 days of hire Demonstrated competency in age-appropriate tasks, skills, and procedures Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Job-Specific Duties:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine studies. Instruct, educate, and prepare patients for exams. Safely administer isotopes and follow radiation safety standards. Perform daily quality control and monitor the Nuclear Medicine department. Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and national regulations. Apply appropriate injection protocols. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, such as shift differentials and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for this position is a reasonable estimate that ranges from the lowest to the highest pay CHLB/Glendora Hospital, in good faith, believes it might pay for this job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
