Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location:
Fresno, CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Total Compensation:
$3,750/week ($1500 is
NON-TAXABLE PER DIEM FOR TRAVELERS
) Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 40-hour/week travel assignment in Fresno, California. This is an excellent weekday opportunity with a consistent schedule and competitive weekly pay. Responsibilities Perform the full spectrum of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures. Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards. Use specialized imaging equipment to record and evaluate the distribution of radiopharmaceuticals within the patient's body. Analyze biological specimens and assist physicians with both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Ensure compliance with radiation safety, patient safety, and infection control protocols. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and providing compassionate care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and departmental initiatives. Requirements Minimum 2 years of post-program graduate experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CTNM) with all scopes, including venipuncture . Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and patient care. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Nuclear Medicine Physicians and the healthcare team.
