No call and no weekend requirement Job Summary We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) to join the Nuclear Medicine Services team at a leading healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA . The technologist will perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast , utilizing radioactive materials and advanced imaging technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and evaluating patient conditions. The technologist will work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards and clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT scans and CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders. Prepare, administer, and handle radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately . Start and maintain IV access for contrast administration when required. Follow proper procedures for storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials . Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions (PPE) . Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety. Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Epic charting system . Maintain imaging equipment and follow quality assurance standards. Float to other affiliated facilities as needed to support operational requirements. Requirements Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience required Active Nuclear Medicine certification (CNMT or NMTCB) ARRT (N) or ARRT CT certification preferred Dual licensure in Nuclear Medicine and CT/X-Ray strongly preferred BLS certification (AHA) required Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred Ability to start IVs and administer contrast when required Work Environment Adult patient population Outpatient clinic / diagnostic imaging environment Use of advanced PET/CT imaging technology
