Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist proficient in imaging procedures. This contract position offers a dynamic work schedule across leading healthcare facilities and the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams focused on patient care.
Schedule:
Mondays:
10-hour shifts at Tracy location
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays:
10-hour shifts at Merced location
Your Experience and Credentials:
Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine imaging processes Valid ARRT or NMTCB certification required Current state licensure for nuclear medicine technology Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment Skillful with advanced imaging systems and radiation safety protocols Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach to patient interactions Ability to adapt to multiple healthcare settings and varying patient care needs CPR certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a diverse range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with safety and quality regulations Assess image quality and maintain precise documentation for each patient procedure Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for safe, reliable operation Provide patient education regarding procedures and address any questions or concerns with empathy Uphold strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
