1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care Magnet hospital in Orange, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active NMTCB or ARRT certification. Details Work in the Nuclear Medicine department of a 426-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital PET scan experience is preferred; on-site training is available for qualified candidates Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM — no weekends or holidays required Optional call shifts are available but not required; call hours are Mon-Fri 4:30 AM-10:00 PM and Sat-Sun 6:00 AM-10:00 PM with a 60-minute response time Charting performed in Epic (experience required) Free parking available on site Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required Active NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required Current CA state license required (pending license not accepted) BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable Additional Information Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies, including PET scans Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination First-time travelers will not be considered; candidates must have at least 2 years of experience Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered but should inquire about the local rate All RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration; scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration SSN and DOB are required for consideration
