40 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in a primary and specialty care clinic. The technologist will perform nuclear medicine procedures, including myocardial imaging and stress testing, while ensuring patient safety and compliance with state and national standards. Candidates must hold valid certification and licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine (required) Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB or ARRT (required) Valid licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the California Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch (required) Current BLS certification (required) First‑time travelers accepted Must be able to float to sister facilities as needed Skills Professional knowledge: venous blood draws, IV starts and maintenance Myocardial imaging: exercise/rest (single and multiple), pharmacological stress testing Work settings: adult patients in clinic environments Safety protocols: radiation safety, aseptic technique, specimen handling Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including myocardial and stress testing Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses Start and maintain IVs, draw venous blood as needed Document procedures accurately in EMR systems Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and diagnostic accuracy Float to sister facilities within the health system as required Work Environment Outpatient clinic setting Patient population: adults Scrub color: Royal Blue No weekend requirements Free parking available
