Nuclear Medicine Technologist

LOCATION

Torrance, California SALARY:

$107,660 to $167,107

• $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires
• Relocation Assistance Available Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training:

Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.

Upon hire:

National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Upon hire: National Provider BLS
• American Heart Association 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
