5x7 Schedule Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in a high-volume acute care setting. The technologist will support patient care through accurate nuclear medicine imaging, adherence to radiation safety standards, and proper operation of advanced imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital radiology department. Primary Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately Operate nuclear imaging equipment and ensure high-quality imaging results Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards Maintain accurate imaging records and procedural documentation Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and radiology staff regarding imaging studies Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and quality control of imaging equipment Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Required Qualifications Experience Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required Experience with nuclear imaging equipment required Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols required Education Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine training program required Military training programs accepted Licensure & Certifications ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) Certification required NYSDOH License as Radiology Technologist with Injection required NYSDOH Nuclear Medicine Technologist License required BLS (American Heart Association) preferred Skills Nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling Radiation safety and compliance Patient positioning and monitoring Equipment operation and quality control Strong attention to detail and procedural accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
