Baptist Medical Center is seeking to add a SPECT Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department in Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity. The SPECT Technologist will be responsible for: Performs high-quality diagnostic procedures Knowledge of (and adherence to) State of Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials. Protects patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy Performs high-quality (CT) (NM) (PET) procedures. Promotes goodwill amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
Licensure Requirement:
Registered CT Technologist (up to one year to attain CT registry from date of hire). This SPECT Technologist opportunity will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
