- Administer radiopharmaceuticals for procedures.

Responsibilities Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, DEXA scans, and other diagnostic imaging tests, adhering strictly to established protocols and safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Operate complex imaging equipment utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments when necessary. Conduct physiological assessments related to imaging procedures, applying thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Assist in the interpretation of imaging results to support physicians in diagnostic evaluation. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and radiation exposure levels for compliance and quality assurance. Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions related to medical terminology and process expectations. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and streamline workflow across different clinical settings. Skills Proficiency in performing DEXA scans, PET scans, and other advanced nuclear medicine imaging techniques. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, including radiopharmaceutical handling and safety protocols. Experience with medical imaging equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations accurately based on imaging data.
