Nuclear Medicine Technologist CIRA (Center for Imaging and Research of America) - 5.0 Miami, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $40 - $42 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications PET scan Quality control CNMT Nuclear medicine ARRT (CT) Certification Full Job Description Position Summary CIRA (Center for Imaging and Research of America) seeks a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Center in Miami, Florida. The center will provide state-of-the-art cardiac PET/CT imaging capabilities and the first to offer N-13 Ammonia PET Myocardial Perfusion Imaging. Essential Functions Performs quality control for Nuclear Medicine instrumentation as outlined by manufacturer guidelines. Assists in planning cardiac stress testing in coordination with cardiac tech and or physician in cardiac PET/CT scanning. Performs Cardiac PET/CT Scanning and post-processing. Coordinate with radio-pharmacy delivery of and administration of radiopharmaceutical. Maintains records as outlined by the Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control. Performs all safety checks as outlined by the Florida Department of Health, Radiation Control. Assists in the administration of therapeutic radioactive materials with an authorized user. Participates in the corporate ALARA Radiation Safety Program. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with CIRA policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Education/Training Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology and maintains current Florida State License. Diagnostic CT certification required.
