Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) Florida | PRN | In-Person At The Cardiovascular Center of Florida, we are committed to providing high-quality outpatient cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic services in a collaborative clinical environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to join our cardiovascular imaging team. This position is ideal for a skilled imaging professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and diagnostic support. Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs cardiovascular imaging procedures and supports daily imaging operations within the outpatient cardiology practice. This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care, imaging workflows, and accurate clinical documentation. Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide patient education as needed Operate and maintain imaging equipment to support quality imaging services Support stress testing and imaging workflows in collaboration with clinical staff Review images for quality and completeness prior to physician review Accurately document patient and imaging information within the electronic health record system Maintain patient privacy, safety, and infection prevention standards Collaborate with physicians, technologists, nursing staff, and clinical personnel to support efficient operations Support inventory management and department organization as needed Maintain professionalism and strong patient service standards in a fast-paced outpatient environment Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required CT certification preferred Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine or cardiovascular imaging experience preferred Active BLS certification required Experience with outpatient imaging environments preferred Experience with electronic health record systems preferred Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills required Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards Why Join Us?
