Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts Only | Mixed Rotation (Days/Evenings)

6:00 AM-2:30 PM | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM | 3:00 PM-11:00
PM Pay Rate:
$30.34 - $37.00/Hour (Based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high-performing diagnostic imaging department within a leading Level II Trauma Center on Florida's Treasure Coast. This role involves performing advanced nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety standards and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Core Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for diagnostic and screening purposes. Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following ALARA radiation safety principles. Ensure accurate imaging quality and maintain high-resolution diagnostic standards. Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear imaging equipment and related systems. Conduct quality control checks and ensure proper functioning of imaging systems. Position patients accurately and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance. Monitor patients during procedures for safety and clinical stability. Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for efficient workflow. Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records for interpretation. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and hospital radiation safety regulations. Requirements Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Sciences required. Active NMTCB certification or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine or Radiography) required. Active Florida state radiologic technologist license required. BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of start. Strong understanding of radiation safety standards (ALARA principles). Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends. Strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills.
