Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Take on a dynamic role specializing in imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within a dedicated healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule, allowing for optimal work-life balance while leveraging your expertise in nuclear medicine.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm On call and call back coverage required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 pm No regular weekend rotation Holiday coverage only if your shift falls on the holiday
Essential Qualifications:
Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology Proven experience in imaging, specifically with nuclear medicine protocols and equipment Familiarity with safety procedures regarding radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety Outstanding communication and technical skills Ability to adapt to evolving procedures and a team-based clinical environment Professional licensure as required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and analyze a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in alignment with physician orders Ensure precise preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals Safeguard patient and staff safety, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation Collaborate with referring physicians and radiology teams to optimize patient care Participate in occasional on-call shifts to support patient needs and urgent procedures
