Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Make a vital impact in patient care by performing advanced nuclear medicine imaging as part of a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract position requires skilled professionals dedicated to delivering quality diagnostic services, utilizing the latest in imaging technology to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm On-call duties Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm No weekend rotation Holiday coverage only if the holiday falls on your scheduled shift
Qualifications & Experience:
Credentialed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Demonstrated proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging procedures Current certification by relevant accrediting body (e.g., ARRT or NMTCB) Ability to operate imaging equipment and follow safety protocols Strong communication and patient care skills Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely Operate specialized imaging equipment and monitor patients during scans Ensure all regulatory and safety standards are followed Keep accurate patient and procedure records Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Participate in continuing education and training as needed Take the next step in your career by applying your nuclear medicine expertise in a supportive clinical environment.
