This opportunity is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists eager to expand their expertise while discovering a new city during downtime. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting both general nuclear medicine (Gen NM) and PET/CT procedures, with the flexibility to float between units and play a pivotal role in both direct and indirect patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
13-week assignment Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures (10+ nuclear medicine, 12-14 PET/CT scans daily). Operate GE/Siemens equipment for exams including WB bone, lung, gastric emptying, renal, HIDA, thyroid, Datscan, Lympho, parathyroid, FDG PET, and specialty PET scans. Float between Gen NM and PET teams as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Complete both direct patient care and tasks such as patient reminder calls. Contribute to a collaborative, high-functioning imaging department.
Qualifications:
ARRT(NM) or NMTCB required. Minimum 3-5 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience. Proficiency in Gen NM and PET/CT, including the most common nuclear medicine procedures. Comfortable with 10+ nuc med and 12-14 PET/CT scans per day. Experience with GE/Siemens equipment preferred.
