Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine. This role offers a structured weekday schedule and a supportive professional environment, perfect for those seeking consistency and a focus on patient care.
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm On-call coverage required: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until 6:00 pm No weekend rotation Coverage required if a holiday falls on your shift
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Certification or registry as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-NM) Demonstrated expertise in conducting diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and managing radiopharmaceuticals safely Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and maintain high-quality patient care standards Excellent communication and detail-oriented documentation skills Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction Perform imaging procedures according to established protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process Document activities and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with radiologists, fellow technologists, and other healthcare staff Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support uninterrupted patient care Benefits of this
