Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role offers a supportive environment, access to advanced imaging technology, and opportunities for professional growth.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift 5x8 hour shifts per week
Duration:
13 weeks
Qualifications:
Current certification in
ARRT N, ARRT
N or ARRT R, or ARRT R Valid BLS certification Demonstrated experience in nuclear medicine imaging procedures Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and medical imaging equipment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and efficiency Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for imaging studies Ensure patient safety by following strict safety and infection control procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow healthcare providers Monitor equipment function, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely maintenance Maintain clear, complete patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations Provide compassionate patient education before, during, and after procedures
