Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a crucial role in advanced healthcare, utilizing your expertise in Nuclear Medicine technology. This contract position focuses on performing a range of imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients. Your skills will directly contribute to efficient patient care, working collaboratively with a supportive healthcare team.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Every Other Weekend required
Qualifications:
Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience in performing nuclear medicine imaging and related procedures Ability to operate imaging equipment accurately and safely Strong communication and patient-care skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic procedures Conduct nuclear medicine scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort Adhere to safety guidelines regarding radiation exposure for patients, self, and colleagues Maintain precise records of procedures and patient histories Collaborate with radiologists, healthcare providers, and nursing teams to deliver coordinated diagnostic services Monitor equipment functionality and report any operational issues promptly This opportunity provides a structured weekday schedule with every other weekend rotation, promoting work-life balance.
