Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for contract employment at a respected healthcare facility. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals confident in all aspects of nuclear medicine and imaging, who thrive in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM On-call and call-back coverage required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 PM No weekend rotation Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on your shift
Qualifications:
Current certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Strong background in all phases of nuclear medicine imaging procedures Proven experience adhering to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance processes Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-focused approach Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Independently conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Ensure quality images for accurate diagnoses while maintaining patient safety and comfort Track, document, and communicate results and relevant patient data using electronic health records systems Participate in routine equipment maintenance and calibration checks Respond to on-call and call-back scenarios as required by the schedule Support the department by upholding best practices, safety guidelines, and infection control standards Provide knowledgeable and reassuring care to patients throughout imaging processes Enjoy working alongside dedicated imaging professionals while utilizing advanced technology in a positive workplace.
