Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Nestled in the heart of picturesque Middle Georgia, Lizella provides the perfect base for your next travel assignment. This 13-week travel opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist lets you refine your expertise across multiple facilities as a float, gaining insights into diverse workplace cultures and leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:
Flexibility to discuss either 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts with the hiring manager
Desired Qualifications:
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification Active and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license (as required by Georgia) At least one year of recent Nuclear Med Tech experience Proficiency in performing functional imaging and diagnostic procedures Ability to adapt quickly to varying departmental protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols Operate imaging equipment and ensure patient safety throughout the process Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient condition Provide accurate records and documentation of procedures Float between locations in Macon, Milledgeville, and Greensboro as scheduled Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Assist in maintaining a harmonious, efficient imaging department
